Hi @championshowpig , It could be a number of things that are causing the problem. A faulty heater element, a faulty cut off thermostat, a faulty base unit etc. The kettle could be tested to check if the element was OK and if so then the base unit would have to be opened and tested as to what the problem is. The hard part with all this is if there is a faulty part is to get replacement parts if it cannot be fixed any other way e.g. here’s the base unit for the kettle just to give an idea of the cost. Here’s a parts diagram that may help if you decide to dis-assemble it.
