The hinges on my MacBook Pro Touch Bar is losing; can we fix that? It can stand at a 90-degree angle but will till down if I adjust it to the back.
Ouch! I can tell you don’t use your system that much, Apple had a run of defective display assemblies. Basically, the steel hinge pin is press fitted into the softer aluminum and becomes loose overtime (usage). The newer version uses a larger keyed pin so there is less risk of failure.
Apple did offer an extended warranty program for this. I would try to get it covered, you may need to plead a bit asking for a warranty exception as well as this is not your fault!
