When I’m charging the calculator the green and orange light flash back-and-forth constantly, The calculator won’t even turn on, what’s my problem?
First, I’d try charging it from a different power source (like a different power brick or use your laptop). If the problem persists, then that sounds like a bad connection with the battery or something has gone wrong with the battery. When the LED turns orange, that means it’s trying to charge the battery but when it turns green that means it’s not detecting a battery to charge. Try taking the battery out and inspecting it for any damage and check if the three metal contacts are clean. Refer to Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus CE Battery Replacement if you need help with that. If the battery looks fine, then you might want to try a friend’s known, working battery or buy a new one to try. There’s a slight chance that pressing the reset button on the back of the calculator can force it to come back to life. Could you please tell me how old your calculator is?
