While replacing the broken display, the Force Touch sensor was cut off. So I bought a Force Touch sensor and replaced it. The Force Touch is not working even though it has been replaced correctly. Is the product a problem? Or do I need to do additional methods?
Please ensure that all of the display ribbon cables are properly seated. When I replaced the screen and force touch sensor gasket on the series three I had the same issue. I had to reopen the case and I carefully re-seated all three ribbon cables and then the force touch worked properly.
do you know which one of the ribbons causes this?
