Hi, thanks for trying to help me out. I bought an iPhone 6s to repair and whilst replacing the screen, I noticed the black cover of the battery is torn in some places. The battery still works fine and is at 100% capacity. I really don’t want to replace it because then I won’t make any profit however I will if it is a safety concern. Also, please see the attached image, does it look like it is leaking to you? or simply the foil ripped? Thanks for helping. Chris
That is absolutely a safety concern. Replace that before selling it. You can get a good quality battery from sites like mobile sentrix or mobile defenders for roughly $10 before shipping.
