There was a problem with the drive after disassembly. When you insert a disk, autosupport is triggered, but the disk does not fully enter. A plate that slides and closes the curtain does not cling to the gear, respectively, the disk cannot go any further. If you manually move the plate - the disk enters normally, the ejection also works correctly. What could be the reason? The top cover is not seated in properly. It needs to hook in under the black plastics on the side where the disc comes in from.
