I got a ps4 V2 controller that works fine when connected via USB but when I try to use it unplugged it shows charge light if it has charge. It won’t connect via bluetooth. I tried:-swapping out the USB port on the controller-Swapping the the battery with a known good battery. -Swapping out the ribbon cable.
Try resetting the controller with a pin on the back of the controller. Are you sure the battery is definitely good? If it still fails I’d open it back up and check all the connections are seated correctly.
