one hour or so, it works great, but sometimes, when I use it longer, especailly after an idle time or walk away from it, then come back the screen becomes frozen, when I click the mouse, the arrow becomes a rainbow filled circle and I can not go anywhere, if it turns it down, it remains the same, but if I wait longer ( one or two hours, it works again. I wonder what it is the problem, I thought it was virus. any ideas? please help.

You can then clean the fans and/or go further and replace the thermal paste on the heat sink.
