I can’t figure out if its because the camera is not charging the battery or the battery is not giving power to the camera or even if the battery is fully dead
tristan evans if you are using a USB charger, us a USB Ammeter and see if your camera pull some amperage. Unless you have some prior damage etc. I would start with checking the charger. After that the charging cable. Make sure that the ends are clean no corrosion etc. Measure the output of the charger. After that check the charge connector and make sure it is clean, no damaged pins or other debris in it. If all of that checks out, replace the battery first. The re-evaluate and see if you need to dig further. There are usually charging fuse on the circuit boards but for that you have to tear it down etc. Start with the easy stuff first.
