The camera has battery but doesn’t turn on. I am new with digital cameras, can you suggest me ways to see what exactly is to be fixed?
Do you have an external power adapter for the camera? If yes, have you tried connecting the power adapter to the camera and then turning it on? You’ve charged the battery, yes? How old is the battery? If it is as old as the camera it may not be any good. Amazingly, my Sony DSC-H50 allows the battery to be inserted in reverse, so make sure you have yours inserted correctly.
