When powered on, none of the buttons seem to function.
You can try to reset the flip camera. On the bottom of the camera, inside the tripod mount hole, there should be a tiny button. Use a pin or paper clip to press the button for 10 seconds. See if this helps.
The wire that connects the buttons to the motherboard may have become loose or even damaged. Flip Video Ultra Troubleshooting
