I think it’s because the “resistance” ( heating coil) is damaged. Can I fix it soldering it? Can I change that part? How much the replacement would be? I don’t know how can I attached a picture. Thanks so much for your help. ADRIANA
Adriana eiroa , I did a search for a replacement heating coil with no luck as they can not be repaired normally. Below is the link to Cuisinart where you can contact to see if part is available. I believe it has 3-year warranty, so use your warranty if you can for replacement/repair/refund. The last link is to a disassembly guide so you can check all the wires/connections for loose/damage/corrosion and test with a DVOM with it set on Ohms with the power disconnected, to see if it is getting power to controls etc. Good luck.
