The beater brush on my Black and Decker Pet Vacuum cleaner is not turning. It is useless on carpets.
Hello, Almost every time that the brush stops turning, it is because of hair wrapped around the brush roller. You will burn out the belt if you use it too long in this mode. Your only fix is to take it apart and and clean it (and cut any hair stuck in it in the process). Good Luck! Rich Lilja
I have the same problem, it has happend twice in 1 year. There is barely any hair in the brush, i think its an electrical problem. Getting a new one for the third time.
Bad design. Plastic octagonal gearing strips out immediately.
