Chosen Solution
I have a vizio tv p502ui-b1 and when i turn the tv on the logo shows up and then the backlight goes off and after like 20 to 30 seconds the tv turns off and the led in the bottom-left corner starts blinking for 20 seconds. I can still hear sound and i can see a image with the flashlight and also, when the tv has turn off, if i leave the tv plug to the power outtlet the led keeps blinking then stops for sometime and then it starts again and it keeps going like this. Inside the tv there are 4 pcb: power board on the left, mainboard in the right, backlight driver board in the middle and a fourth board, below the driver board, that i don’t know what it does. I don’t know what’s wrong with the tv and i haven’t try to change the EEPROM since the backlight does work everytime that i turn the tv on so i don’t really know if that’s the problem. hope you guys or girls can help me and sorry if my grammar is bad, english is not my first language.
my problem was in the main board, more specifically the main chips that because of the heat the soldering balls were not longer doing a good contac to the board and so i put the board on the oven at 400 F° for 10 min and the tv work again but i really don´t recommend using an oven because is allways better to just use a soldering station to blow hot air directly into the chip but i don´t have this equipament.
