I went to play Xbox online with friends so I grabbed my mic and put it on my adapter wasn’t working so I took it out when I tried to put it back in the controller it would not go in all the way so I forcefully plugged it in but that broke my controller.

go to EB games, or Best buy and buy a new adapter. this will be your least expensive option.
