I just recently got a Panasonic plasma it worked fine at the house bfor I brought it home we even watched a short film but when I brought it home it does not power on now we loaded an carrying it as if it was on the wall straight up it has never been laid down when I plug it in the wall I have no power it will not come on I’ve never had one these bfor not sure if when I plug it in should there be a red light come in just to show it’s on standby? No lights show I’ve tryd the tricks with the buttons nothing works not sure what’s wrong it was a very smooth ride home no bumps or bangs just wont cut on it didn’t come with a remote but the button work just fine at the place I brought it from can someone help me please the model is.. th-50pz77u
Hi, With power connected to the TV, the red standby power light should be on. Have you checked that the wall outlet that the TV is connected to is working? Here’s the relevant page from the service manual that shows the No Power troubleshooting flowchart. Use an Ohmmeter and do static testing first, i.e. with no power connected to the TV. Check all the wires in the power cord for continuity from end to end and then check the fuses as shown in the flowchart. Once you have proved that the cord and the Power board are OK you may have to use the schematics in the manual and do live testing with a Voltmeter. Be safety aware if you do this as there is exposed lethal voltage on the power board, when the power is connected.
