this is an old question and just answer it for completion sake. The front cover does not come off separately. It is not like a front bezel on the smaller monitors. You will have to open your TV from the back and remove the panel and some of the boards in order to get to the front of the case. Not an easy job. Always consider what it is that you need to repair and how extensive a repair can get.
