I have a Dell Venue 11 Pro 5130 that stopped powering on. It seems that it’s completely dead. I have tried different reset options that were listed on Dell forums but they aren’t working. I tested the charging cable and that works fine. I replaced the battery and that wasn’t it, I also replaced the USB charge port board but that didn’t work either. One of the last things I could try is to replace the mother board. Do you guys have any ideas on how to fix this before replacing the MB or do you think that’s what will fix something like this. Thanks
Hi Thomas, My First Question - How did you repair the Charging port on the board. Are you a technician. If yes Then Probably You need to check the Voltage with the help of Multi meter to see the power in the board. Then its a board level issue. If you are not a techinican, I recommend Checking all the flex cable again and the Battery Connector to see whether they are inserted properly and Also the Charging port as well. Everything looks fine then probably you might have to see a Repair techinican who can fix it. Regards, Sahil
