Tablet it over heats and freezes up

Overheating in tablets can be caused by several issues, so please check these:

  1. Is the tablet stored in sunlight, on a soft surface, or does it remained plugged into a power source for a long period of time? If so, try unplugging it when it finishes charging, and keep it on a hard surface and in a darker place.
  2. Are there many apps running on the tablet at the same time? Turning off apps that are not in use can help prevent overheating.
  3. If the battery itself is overheating, it may need to be removed and placed in front of a fan for about 15-30 minutes (this can actually work!). If the battery cannot be removed, it may need to be replaced by a technician.
