power button may be stuck or is the battery dead. i bough tit used and have the back of the unit off. Update (08/10/2016) THE CHARGING PORT IS WORKING BECAUSE THE BATTERY SYMBOL IS FLASHING. I DONT THINK THE BATTERY IS HOLDING A CHARGE.
Has the tablet ever worked? It sounds like you make have a bad charge port or cable. If its the cable, that’s an easy fix. However, bad charge ports are usually not easy to replace on android tablets as most of them are soldered onto the motherboard.
