My daughter got her tablet wet and now the screen doesn’t turn on. I hear it make noises so I am hoping its just the screen. Since I will have it apart what should I replace to fix the problem? Just the screen or could there be other issues? I would hate to replace the screen, put it back together and find out it still doesn’t work. Thanks.
I would replace the screen and clean away deposits from the water damage. Once it is cleaned up and a new screen is fitted I expect it will be fine. I have revived many phones from near death from water damage. Just a little care is needed to bring them back. The common faults are either the screen or the battery. :) Hope this helps. Good luck.
