Chosen Solution The volume button appears to be in working condition. It does not appear stuck but it is somewhat difficult to maneuver it. It has a hard feel to it. That sounds like your volume button is jammed. If you unscrew your device you will be able to see what is jamming up the button. It could just be dirt or a screw that needs to be tightened. Volume controller works on key pad and key pad made up by carbon which disappear after using it and it breaks circuit which is unable to complete your command....

It looks like someone tried to solder the insulation too. The first thing you want to do is to remove the insulation from the cable. Next you want to use some flux and desoldering wick and clean that blob of solder on the left....

System will not reset In my experience this typically happens when there are more apps/processes than the device can handle running all at the same time. It happens on my Lenovo tablet and the cheaper Android device I bought recently. Sometimes it only affects certain processes when I’m playing certain games or if there are too many things all open and running in the background....

You definitely do not need to use the heat gun if you just want to change the thermal paste. The heat gun is used for re-flowing the solder underneath the processor and graphics cards. YLoD fix kit I agree u dont need to use the heat gun if your just changing the the thermal paste I recommend Artic Silver....
