Chosen Solution What is the little hole next to the USB port? My niece was playing with my phone and she pushed a needle through it. I do not see any adveser issue but I know that a needle can not fit in it as something was holding it there. Victor J (Mytre) that is the opening for the microphone. If the mic still works then nothing to worry about. Wait until something actually fails before trying to tear it apart and to check for damage....

Chosen Solution Hi everyone, I recently dropped my 80D on the grass, it had the LCD screen open, and luckily, it keeps working fine, but now doesn’t let me pull it out, as the “rotating” part broke (see photo). As the screen itself keeps working perfectly well, I was hoping maybe I could get somewhere just this “mount” part, instead of changing the whole thing? Couldn’t find this replacement part or at leas it’s name anywhere (neither could I find the whole screen kit with this base)....

Chosen Solution Hello I need your answer please. My phone won’t charge. Every time I put the charger unto it, at first it will charge then after maybe 1 minute it wont charge again. I used every charger at home but still it won’t charge. I removed the battery and restart but still nothing happened. Is it because of the battery or the phone itself? Chosen Solution when i on the camera its automatic off == == @mominashfaq10 , Momin, Poor/low batteries can shut down camera, replace batteries with good quality batteries, Duracell Alkaline, EverReady Lithium, etc. or ensure batteries are fully charged. Check the settings camera has an Auto-Off function, camera can turn off after a period of time when not being used in order to save power. If too cold of environment the camera could do this, try warming camera back to room temperature....

Chosen Solution TL;DR: Previous owner asked me to look at it after it had issues with vertical scrolling, tried to fix it and does not want the mouse. This is a $100 mouse (new), so it’s at least worth trying to save. When you try and use the mouse, the scroll wheel always scrolls down, rather then up; it’s essentially unusable right now since it’s always happening. I already tried cleaning the sensor with canned air, and the issue persists so I did make an attempt to save it for nothing....

Chosen Solution The mixamp won’t charge properly, what happened to my device? he most likely cause of inefficient device charging is a bad connection between charging cable and the micro USB charging port. Try using a different charging cord usually fix the problem.You can purchase a new chaging cord here: http://www.astrogaming.com/accessories/3…. If the problem persists after changing charging cord, it is very likely that the connection between USB port and the motherboard is loose....

Is the sound card shown in the device manager as installed and working correctly? click on the windows button + X and choose “Device Manager” from the menu. In the device manager are there any devices under “sound, video and game controllers” ? Generally, people get into the sound problem due to the several reasons....

Chosen Solution Hi, My Iphone 5 screen was unresponsive after i threw it on the wall. Luckily, it didn’t break any part of my screen or aluminium body. But screen lost it responsiveness after that incident. I can see all the apps, siri is working. I can’t unlock my iphone, but i opened maps, gmail with siri and other apps using SIRI. Chosen Solution Two weeks ago my iPad stopped responding to touch (as far as I know, nothing happened to trigger this. I didn’t drop it, it just stopped working). Tried restoring. Nothing. I bought the screen/digitizer/home button ifixit part and replaced it last night. Thankfully the power & home buttons and screen still work after the replacement. Unfortunately, the iPad still does not respond to any touches and I cannot slide to unlock....

Chosen Solution Hi Ernest, As the others have said this could be a quality issue, however I have had similar issues with the iPhone 6+ which was easily rectified. The iPhone 6+ has two rather long connectors from the LCD and Digitizer Assembly, one for each respectively. Due to their length, these connectors sometimes have issues making full contact with the headers. As they are slightly malleable, you will find they often flex in a concave fashion, or perhaps one end will be lifted....

Unplugged the tv for a night and turned it back on same thing happened Unplugged again and next day turned it back on came on kinda but it was a blank green screen that shut right back off. Looked on some forums that said it could be a power supply transistor but all of them look intact....

But right side ports won’t work at all not even to charge nothing happens when I plug into it the 2 ports on the right are connected to the motherboard with a ribbon, you will need to check if the ribbon is connected properly. Hi @fixityourself Good day, visually inspect on the usb ports for and dent or shorted pins. If all is good, proceed to the next step to check the usb board connected to the mainboard....

Chosen Solution ok so I accidentally left my ipod in my shorts and my mom washed them that day. I did that rice method advice I heard about all over google. I left it in a bag of rice for 3 days, but it wasn’t a success. So I went to Youtube to figure out how to open up my ipod, then I again accidentally broke that little peice hooked on a skinny wire right behind the screen from the inside, lost the hold button entirely, and messed between the upper part inside screen, and under the white part where the hold button belongs....

Chosen Solution So I am trying to do an glass only repair of my S8 Plus. I have taken it apart and removed the glass from the mid frame. Under the glass is a gold film with a ribbon at the bottom. Is this the digitizer? Do I remove the film? I have the glass only do I need to get a glass with digitizer or a whole new LCD?
