You may have issues with your hard drive and your battery or your motherboard. I’d try a new hard drive first and see if your OS will load. If it does you know what the issues are. If it does not then you will have to dig closer and check your motherboard....

This reply is late but you need a Torx T5 screwdriver. I had to buy a T5-10 set from my hardware store just to get the T5. I use 3u tools to read the phone, it is not detecting the finger sensor module (shows empty). However, I took the home button from another 6s, 3u tool is able to reads the fingerprint module fine. Chosen Solution I have changed my screen and swapped over the original home button. Everything works fine but Touch ID isn’t working anymore. Can anyone help? Have you torn the cable? Inspect the cable for damage. Even the slightest tear could disable touch ID. Most likely the home button flex was damaged. The home button extension flex that routes through the LCD display backlight film may be partially disconnected from the logic board, torn, or just bad from the vendor....

No. Touch ID will work fine unless A) You have bad screens or B.) You are systematically making microtears or tiny tweezer punctures in the home flexes.

Chosen Solution Charging Icon displays briefly when plugged. philipus19 , Remove the charger and look in the port, check for dust/debri and blow out with canned compressed air, also check for damage/ bent pins and straighten with a tooth pick carefully. Still no go, try a different charger/cable(known working one). Still no go, try wiggling the end of charge cable in device to see if the device charge port is loose(note whether the charge indicator flashes or stays on), if it does the charge port may need repaired or replaced....
