After that you will have to see what’s still wrong (if anything) to know what to check next. The problem with doing this is finding a replacement screen. Look for the make and model number of the screen on the back of the screen itself and search for that....

Chosen Solution What kind of glue remover do you use when cleaning and preparing for glueing on new lcd? I have tried acetone, but it’s now working.. Acetone is what is in nail polish remover. Acetone will break down super glue. A qtip soaked with acetone and some scrubbing.

When re-assembling it, I came back to step 29 and got all of the screws back in, except for the lowest of the three all the way to the right, looking down. They are the 2mm phillips screws, circled in red on that step. I unscrewed the others and popped off the plate to find a small rectangular magnet with one side having a sticky residue on it causing the block, having been wedged between the metal inner plate and the base....

Chosen Solution I’m a little puzzled, I replaced my logic board and after I was done I started it up to find out that the top half of the screen does not work. Only the bottom half works. First my camera was not working so I restored phone with new firmware but the top half just don’t work. Chosen Solution I replaced my iPhone screen today, however I am having some issues with the touchscreen. When I am using the phone, the screen stays responsive and runs with no issues. However, if I lock my phone and wait for 20 seconds or so, the touchscreen will indefinitely not work upon unlocking the device-despite the actual LCD still functioning perfectly. However, if I lock and then unlock my phone again immediately after this, the touchscreen will work perfectly without any issues; until I leave the phone locked for another 20 seconds etc… So far I have reconnected all the flex cables between my new screen and the phone twice (no difference seems to be made) and I have done a hard/soft restart and a reset of my phone....

Recently my macbook (due to water damage according to the apple store) completely died- the tech guy said that they could repair it, but there was no gurantee the data would be all there when repaired so he said I could try and use an enclosure to recover the files (link:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TQW…) So I ordered it and followed the steps and plugged my dead mac’s hard drive into it and then the adapter into my sister’s (perfectly fine) computer....

Chosen Solution I cannot get my tablet opened. I press the open key on the screen but it does not go anywhere. How can I get it to open up? Try using something smaller than your finger to press the open key (button). A smaller object may help to press the key all the way in. Also try pressing the key closer to the left end & closer to the right end, instead of the middle of the key....

Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 5s that I forgot the password to. I am trying to reset it by plugging it into my computer, powering it off and then pressing and holding the power and home button, but it just keeps turning off and on. The home button on the iPhone doesn’t always work. Unfortunately with a lost passcode the only option is to reset the phone and lose all data and settings however if you have a backup in iTunes this can be restored later....

Chosen Solution I have replaced the PS board and checked voltage on PS board and it all checks out. I even tested the with volt meter on the old PS board and it tested out. I tested with volt meter after i purchased the PS board thinking it was PS issue. Now i am looking at replacing the mainboard where the backlight power is coming off the main board where it appears two cables coming off the mainboard to the LED backlight strips....
