I am not sure what happened to it. maybe the kids left it in the heat or something. there are no cracks on the screen the battery charges fine and reboot fine just still blurry. could be water damage, check if you see signs of that....

Chosen Solution My macbook clicks but has no other signs of life and unlike my 2019 where i was just able to restore it with another mac. Ive tried a PRam reset and all the other basic trouble shooting things (to my knowledge) and it also doesnt display anything to the internal monitor or an external monitor Let see if a full SMC reset solves this. Pop off the bottom cover and disconnect the battery, now with nothing connected press and hold the power button for a good 15 secs....
Chosen Solution my msi gt683r/msi ms-16f2 motherboard stopped working yesterday , removed motherboard and found a sop-8 apm4317 mosfet blowup/torched and a tiny smd capacitor missing (pad with solder damaged but track still in place,so i assume a component is missing) my question is,how do i identify this capacitor?(impedance,voltage,…),there are others that appear to look like it but cant be sure. the capacitor has 1mm/0.5mm. @ryleth there is no way to determine what component that is without having a schematic....

After disassembling, i found corrossion on the under side of the board, but the problem is one capacitor is so badly corroded that a pad is totally burnt out, leaving a hole on the PCB. The cap sits on a shorted line PPVIN_G3H_PP3V3G3H. i have searched for any other shorted components on the line and found none....
Chosen Solution Haier wine cooler model hvfm122abL. The top right corner of the cooling panel frosts up immediately after plugging fridge. The rest of the panel is barely cool so the fridge doesnt cool any of the beverages. It was fine for 5years and all of a sudden it just started doing that. I check door seals and unplugged fridge overnight . But as soon as i plug it in only that corner begins to cool until it frosts up....

After that it seems that the TV would start normally but just shows the Samsung bootlogo, then Blackscreen and is finally shutting down. Chosen Solution Someone please help, I have already contacted my tech guy and he said do a manual reset, or try Shift + F5 or Power Button + FN + F5 and Toshiba suggested pressing FN+ F2 thinking it was a brightness issue. I’ve heard all the advice about pulling out the battery but my battery is internal which would mean actually pulling the whole thing apart. I got this laptop through my scholarship and I don’t want to anything to harm the warranty on it....

I have found out that the tv will power on and stay on if I disconnect either one of the white ribbon cables as pictured, it does not matter which cable I disconnect, as long as one of them is disconnect it will stay on....
