Chosen Solution I have 65 in Samsung curve that did not have power I changed the main board and now have power but also now have a thin black line coming down the left side of the screen. I was careful with all connections and believe they are all properly and securely back in place. Any help with this would be appreciated @jodyjames we really would need to see what this all looks like....
Chosen Solution I have an early 2011, 15” MacBook Pro. I use it to teach and it has to connect to an LCD projectors. The projectors I use connect via a VGA cable. The MacBook Pro uses a thunderbolt port and only has an Ethernet, firewire, 2 USB ports and a card reader. I went to hook into a projector and the MacBook could not see the projector. I tested the cable and projector, I tested the dongle (thunderbolt to VGA) and all seem to be working fine....

But now Touch ID doesn’t work unless i take my pentolope screws out and detach my screen from the rest of the body. When the screen is detached the home button works (but still doesn’t click). But when I put the screen back on it goes again....

Chosen Solution In recent weeks I’ve noticed the leftsided display cable became “visible”. I unfortunately dropped it today but didn’t think much of it. Later on it would turn on but the touchscreen is completely unresponsive. Can I fix this myself? Will I need new parts or this just a loose cable? I’m willing to try this myself. Thanks! When you don’t have 3G or you can’t receive MMS messages it usually means your APN settings are wrong, or they are not there at all. You can change them here: Settings -> More… -> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names (APN) -> Tick your service provider Usually you can get the correct APN settings from your provider’s website....

Chosen Solution the two usb ports on the right side do not work at all Get into your device manager and scroll through all of your USB Controllers. The ones with a yellow triangle indicating issues means usually the driver(s) needs to be updated. Or it refers to a hardware error. I forgot to state: you could disable the power management on the USB hub. Windows tries to disable devices when not in use to save on power....

Mikeyrue, It sounds like the mechanical timer unit may have something broken in it. There may be a way to repair it, but the internal works are a bit complicated. Mechanical timers do occasionally fail. It may be best to replace the entire timer unit....

Definitely the first two and I THINK the second. Go to a local pick n pull and check. You’ll be able to easily check there. Chosen Solution I believe that yet another WD drive is about to fail on me, but wanted to check expected read/write rates for my drive. I’ve used CrystalMark and I’m getting sequential rates around 100MB/s but random are down to 500kB/s. I’ve run a few diagnostic tools including WD tools like DLGDIAG that say that it’s fine for the quick and basic tests and haven’t run full all out tests yet....

I check the sensor and show continuity on the sensor and on the Megatron. Chosen Solution I brought my Lenovo tab around 2 weeks ago and since having it I keep getting messages saying laucher3 has stopped. I read online to clear cache but it keeps coming up and I have to hard reset. also at any point playing games or on any apps a system message comes up saying reboot required and a count down for 2 seconds. When it reboots it goes into a start up loop and hard reset required again....
