Chosen Solution So I’ve been trying to recover a liquid damaged MacBook Air, and it looks like the cost of replacing the parts has exceeded the cost of purchasing a refurbished MacBook Air of the same generation. If I took the SSD out of the damaged system, can I simply plug it into the new Mac and expect it to play as if there were no changes at all? At first, I imagine the SSD will most likely detect that it’s in a new device, but will the OS still load and my data still be available?...

Chosen Solution Anyone know if the display can be converted to HDMI or if there is a way to convert a HDMI out of a MacMini M1 to Thunderbolt 2? https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254… Sadly it can’t be done as the M1 graphics engine can’t support the high res of two TB displays. From I understand the Mac Studio will with the Ultra chip.

Chosen Solution Lg 60 inch plasma. Tv on screen flashes every few minutes,what to do? @mivida04 you need to let us know the exact model of your TV. If the screen flashed on and off then this could be a panel issue as well as a power board issue.

Does anyone know if replacing the main board will work? @bryantim07…this sounds like one or many of your led’s is failing sending your unit into protection mode. you will want to open your set and test the led’s. here is a guide: https://www.shopjimmy.com/sid-gj2c-led-t… watch the video at the bottom of the page. if you do not want to purchase the tool, call a local tech as he will be able to test this and confirm....

Chosen Solution Everything works except the sensor, (eg clicks and blue LEDs) took the entire mouse apart, nothing appears to be damaged visibly however it just refuses to move potentially water damage as when I ordered it the box was thrown over my gate and it rained, the box was wet but the mouse wasnt (when I opened it anyway) Is this a new product? If it is, Corsair has an incredibly good RMA service (at least for cases), so try that....

Chosen Solution Hello Guys, This is a my first question here and have seen Forum helping people with the simillar product , hence this post. The problem: The clock was working fine but has stopped working since yesterday. On the LCD screen it shows time only and no hardware button seems to do anything i.e. - , +, Select, Menu, Light Buttons except volume and the FM buttons. Sometimes the volume will increase with a button press and you can listen to the FM station but within fractions of seconds the volume will go to zero and the LCD will then show “OFF” only with a speaker sign....

Chosen Solution changed battery & took out hard drive replaced with ifix board & sd card . how to make it work aging. like every one else i get same big red x & support . what itunes do i use to reset . thanks ! You should try using iTunes, usually it needs to be formatted to work with the device. Plug it into iTunes and format the device. If that does not work, check to make sure you installed the SSD correctly....

I’m a student of interior design so i have to do a lot of 3D max, sketchup and those photoshop thingy but my MBP is not working smoothly and it will stuck sometimes. Chosen Solution My phone fell inside the toilet…I’ve tried blowing it with a fan heater but it went off completely. On trying to turn it on,it just vibrates but nothing comes on…can it be repaired? it depends what spare parts is damage.. but most of water damage cannot be repaired.

Chosen Solution how to repair lcd backlight chad, since you did not tell us what make or model your phone is you can only get a generic answer. No backlight can be caused by multiple issues like a bad panel, a bad LED driver as well as multiple failed components like power coils, diodes and filters within the backlight circuitry. There is not one specific component that fails but a multitude of possibilities....

Chosen Solution When I plug in my headphones into my controller I cant use my sqaure button but when the headphones are out then I can use my sqaure button also when I hold sqaure while my headphones are not in it turns the sound off on pt playstation and when i let go of the sqaure button the sound comes right back Try to reset the controller there is a tiny hole on back push a needle To it while the controller is on if thus doesn’t help there is a hardware issue....

Chosen Solution When someone calls they cannot leave a message because it says my mailbox has no more space. Yet when I check for messages the machine says I have none. I also delete old messages and it says there are none to delete. Hi, What is the model number of the phone? Are you sure that the phone has its’ answering machine setup correctly and that the message is not coming from the Voicemail service on your phone service (if it is setup) provided by your landline phone service provider?...

Chosen Solution I broke the spring pins in the sim card reader (not the sim card tray). Day 1!! Arghh… I can’t bring to HTC as NEXUS 9 LTE is not available in Singapore yet - I imported it. I tore open my Nexus 9 LTE and found that the sim card reader can be replaced as a component by itself. Where can I buy just the sim card reader?...

Chosen Solution I have this Tesco Hudl 1 which a friend literally found under a hedge, and gave me to see if I could fix it. It takes charge and if you try to power it up there are signs of life (faint screen backlight glow) but no display. However if you plug in an external HDMI screen it produces a display, and even responds to a mouse and keyboard plugged into the USB port....

Chosen Solution I owned my 7566 for 2 years, and the left/right button of the touchpad is not working , I have to click multiple times to have my click recognized by the computer (the tap to click function works perfectly fine). I tried rebooting, resetting touchpad setting and windows update and none of them worked, any thoughts? Hi @hfpong , It may be a hardware problem. Perhaps the cable from the touchpad/ buttons to the motherboard is loose or perhaps the buttons contact surface has worn down with use....

Chosen Solution The sound on my Emerson tv goes out and if I turn the power off and on It comes back on. There are a number of reasons for the behavior that you are reporting. Without the model number of the set though, there is not enough information to provide any reasonable response. Please update this with the model number so we can provide the requested assistance. Chosen Solution Apparently, this is called a pressure mark… How do I remove it? It’s kinda irritating being on my display. Please check if the battery has any damage and has some points. Sometimes batteries can have several points that gives the screen pressure marks. If the damage is still there after battery replacement or control (That you have checked and there are no points/damage) You are going to replace the LCD to get rid of the marks....

Chosen Solution I got this Mac book its an A1278 model, 4gb of ram. Rom Version: MB51.007D.B03 I downloaded Mountain Lion DMG on my windows workstation, Downloaded TransMac. Opened the DMG inside of Transmac and choose burn to disk. IT completed no errors. Inserted the dvd into the mac, held down option button and its not showing up at all. Any Ideas? Also will this handle 8gb of ram? I would say find someone else with a working mac....
