Chosen Solution Hi all! I have an interesting problem with my iPhone 6. Let me give you a little backstory first: Bought a used iPhone off of Facebook Marketplace (first mistake), from a guy who said that it just needed to be restored in iTunes. Seemed like a simple fix, $80, why not? Got home, plugged it into my PC, and nothing happened. Literally nothing happened. I put the phone into DFU mode, the PC made the little “inserted” noise, (The screen of the iPhone never came on) iTunes came up and said an iPhone in recovery mode has been detected, I clicked restore, then later on I come back and it had given me an error code....

Chosen Solution I have updated my BIOS ,have 8GB memory, cleaned up my windows 10, backed it up, intsalled Samsung EVO 250GB SSD. When I Try to restore Image of c: (190GB) I get drive to small error. HELP!! Please!! Don’t use a “USB recovery drive”, use a “USB Windows media recovery”. The solution is to just replace your Windows 10 operating system onto the new SSD drive and all will go well....

Chosen Solution when someone calls to me or i do call anywhere, i need to put phone on speaker only.if i turn speaker off i do not hear anything but other side do hear,s me. You’re earpiece does not work anymore and needs to be replaced. Every phone has two speakers, one in he ear piece and the loud speaker on the back or side for the speaker phone function.

Chosen Solution my volume goes up and down and mutes on it’s own. My wifi also connects and disconnects on its own. Is there a fix? Time to reinstall windows ? Hard to tell if it’s a hardware or software problem. It could be to do with malware, in which case you should install a good antivirus. Personally I recommend Zemana or Avira. It could also be a hardware problem. Perhaps minor water damage causing short-circuiting in the motherboard....

Chosen Solution There seem to be strips of black tape used inside this and other apple products. They are not electrical tape, as they are much much thinner, and once you peel them off, they don’t stick back on. What kind of tape is this? Chosen Solution I have Logitech K800 wireless keyboard and spilled water on it; now it will not print at all. Can this be fixed? Would probably be better to have replaced. The best way you could have saved this keyboard was to flip it upside down right after the spill to keep all the water at the keys and not the internal parts. Then it would have to be taken apart and dried....

Can you get a control board for my panel? Can you just use a similar control board instead? The whole back I guess the display controler its model number I guess the power supply...

I don’t see a listing for it anywhere. jperl, the battery is not available on ifixit. For that you will have to find another vendor. Chosen Solution On the X12 there are two extenders on the headphones. They they are both SNAPPED but, one the pieces is inside of the resting you would put on your head. William Moore on each side of the headband you will find a piece that holds the “extender” in place. It is attached with two small Philips head screws. Removing those will free the “extenders” and allow you to change it....

Chosen Solution High traffic times as well as any time of day. Text messages “sending” for over 3 mins and no completion. Multiple failures even with 3 bars signal. Is this just a carrier problem (T-MOBIL) or is the constant high temp the problem? WI FI is always turned off as I seldomley have need of it. Chosen Solution I replaced the digitizer only an iPad 3rd generation. I haven’t sealed it. It does come on and Siri comes on but the touch isn’t working. Help! If possible, remove the new digitizer, and test the old digitizer to make sure it’s not an issue with the iPad’s logic board. If the old one works, you’ll know you need to replace the new digitizer as it would likely be defective....
