I let it dry out in rice for a week, then opened it up, replaced the battery, and cleaned out the little bit of corrosion i could find. At this point everything functions except the flashlight, but there are severe liquid stains behind the screen. At one point the engine started revving like crazy by itself and letting go of the throttle didn’t slow it down so I flipped the kill switch. Now I can’t start the weed whacker anymore. Being new to weed whackers, I dont know what to do. A mistake I may have made is I didnt switch off the choke switch after the engine had started....

Thank you. @jh82m that looks like a backlight/diffuser sheet issue. Possibly a bad cap on top of the backlight LED. For a proper diagnosis you would have to totally disassemble the panel. If it does not show prominently during normal operation I would leave it alone....

Would this be the problem? You do need to use the correct wattage charger either the original 61W USB-C Power Adapter or the newer 67W USB-C Power Adapter Using anything less will likely not work....
