Chosen Solution I’m in need of the name for the pins/plugs that are used to hold the heatsinks for the northbridge and southbridge in place. I at first assumed they would be named a plug (similar purpose to what a masonry/plasterboard wall plug are used for), but as we are referring to electronics, the term ‘plug’ are predominantly referring to something completely different, therefore haven’t found what I was after on a quick google search....

Chosen Solution I just replaced the screen on my surface pro 4 and everything went smoothly except when I booted it up. It worked fine it showed the display but the touch screen wouldn’t work. I’ve tried disabling the touch from device manager but it wouldn’t work. A possible cause is that the short ribbon connectors that go back into the small L shaped board that had to be transferred from your old screen to the new screen....

Chosen Solution when i tried to play a movie on my pc, it freezes. i’m using mega codec lite video player. and my board is acer veriton x4501g, processor i5, 2nd gen, windows 8.1 pro. it freezes and whole computer strucks for some time. why it is happening. i updated graphic and video drivers and still facing same problem . Chosen Solution Hi there, my volume buttons don’t work and some weird issue with the speaker on my iPhone 4s. When I go into Settings-Sounds and click on ‘Ringer and Alerts’ the volume buttons work and I can hear the sound through the main speaker but when I go into the main home screen they don’t work. Chosen Solution I bought a water damage iPhone 6. fully functioning but backlight was badly water damaged. Everything still functioned perfectly on the phone except weak wifi signal. I opened up the phone and it was perfect, no signs of water whatsoever and all the indicators were untouched. Chosen Solution Will not go past the chrome screen need a SD card what kind @bobrien Chromo’s use Micro-SD card. Not sure so how this will help your frozen screen. you do want to go ahead and backup all your personal files (pictures, music etc. ) and subsequently try a hard reset to restore it to factory defaults. This will erase all of your files as well as all of your settings....

Chosen Solution My kickstand with the riding foot pegs broke when scooter slipped out of the car onto the pavement. Chosen Solution Aloha! Due to some crazy events, the repair of my 27" iMac Mid 2010, A1312, EMC 2390, iMac 11,3 revealed that I needed additional parts. The new power supply did not fix the black screen - what appeared to be an obviously burned out resistor was not the problem. The video card was. Now, weeks later I want to put it back together, but I am at a loss in regards to where these steel pins belong and why they fell out in the first place....

Chosen Solution Have a Toshiba tablet with fine lines of lost pixels from the top to bottom of the touch screen, should be easy to fix, however its a real mystery to disassemble it first. Any one tried this? At first glance I’d say it has glue around the edges of the screen which needs to be heated to remove. ifixit sell a tool for removing the adhesive. Alternatively you can use a heat gun....

Chosen Solution I have been trying to play Pokémon stadium for the n64 but all four of my controllers don’t read that there is a transfer pak and game boy game in the controller, two of the controllers are third party so that’s why they aren’t working with the transfer pak but I was wondering how to repair the oem expansion ports, I have tried three different transfer paks and multiple controllers to no avail, the Pokémon game I have been trying is authentic too, thanks...
