Chosen Solution Hey guys! I needed switch my return key and I did it almost with perfection: key cover (the black thing) and butterfly clip were great but them I found a transparent plastic piece that is glued on keyboard. I have 2 questions about this transparent piece. What is the name of this transparent piece? Chosen Solution I put my phone on charge and this morning my alarm never went off. I went to look at the problem and when I saw my phone, the light it shone was very very dim and it just kept on flashing the samsung name. But again, it is still very dim. Also as it’s doing this the blue message light it constantly on. Is there an explanation for this because my phone is also heating up and I’m concerned that it will over heat....

Chosen Solution The chain on the bicycle continues to get stuck and come off randomly when riding. If you brought this bike to me I would first check to see if there were any stiff links. To do this I would put the bike in my work stand, and rotate the crank backwards, looking closely at where the chain runs through the rear derailleur. I would also ask you about where it comes off the system....

Chosen Solution iPhone 6s. While pulling up on the display, the home button is NOT staying with the display but looks like it attached to a cable that connects to inside the phone. Is the home button supposed to come up and stay with the display/screen or should I disconnect it from the dispalay and it stays inside the phone??? Thank you in advance. The home button is meant to be secured to the display with a metal bracket and connects to a flex on the display....

Chosen Solution My left trackpad is stuck and makes a cracking sound when gently pressed. Was hoping to find replacement. You may not find an LCD for this watch and will have to resort to replacing the whole unit. Can find a pre-owned one online for under $$200. You can always see if a repair center can have it done for you since the parts are not available to the public....

After an extensive search, it seems no one currently has that part in stock. But you could possibly get it from Apple or an ASP. They will want to install it so it might be pricey. Call and ask. 1-800-MYAPPLE.

Chosen Solution Just replaced frame, screen, digitizer in a combo already together kit and the top and bottom of the screen(about half inch on either side is black..the whole screen is showing like it should but it’s sjust smaller. Any ideas on what I may have did? Is it a good quality screen, it doesn’t sound like it. See image content:

Chosen Solution After checking an iPhone 6s Plus for problems ( it didn’t seem to have any ) i went about replacing the screen. After replacing the LCD would power on but wasnt responsive to touch. I also have to disconnect the battery and connect it again to turn the phone on. Im going to check the filters and decide if its the connector or IC issue (ive tried a known good LCD, this didnt work either)....

Chosen Solution So yesterday I tried to turn on my TV…the screen came on for a second and then turned itself off. Every time I tried to turn it on, the same thing happened and I couldn’t make the TV work at all. I figured it was just time to replace the TV. Bought a new TV and everything seemed fine. Chosen Solution I found this tv next to the dumpster in my student accomodation, its a 39 TH-L39EM5A, and visibly it’s in good condition. I took it inside and when its plugged in there is a solid red light until you press the on button, it then flashes green 10 times. The screen will flash white for about half a second, before going to a blank black screen, but its stil on....

I have a LG 60pz950 Plasma 5 years old was working fine then one day turned on the tv and you see the tv is on but no picture and also if you select tv source etc nothing shows on the tv screen you would usually see the tv menu. Chosen Solution My Kenmore washer only wants to drain. Power button doesn’t do anything. Have to unplug washer to get it to shut off. Won’t start a cycle. Chosen Solution I dropped my phone yesterday and after putting it together I notice the backlight doesn’t work… how can I see if its a minor problem??? dhaslem8 “dropped my phone yesterday” would make it most likely a broken LCD backlight. Replace the display for a repair. Use these guides to work on your phone. Yes, there is always a chance that just a ribbon cable (unlikely) came off, or that the logic board (hopefully not) got damaged, but I’d suggest you start with the display....

Chosen Solution I’ve been seeing this reddish line on my screen and I hate it, can anyone tell me what it is because I’ve been pulling my hairs trying to find a way to get rid of it please HELP!!!!! No red line is visible in the screenshot you posted. If any visual artifact shows up on the screen, but does not appear in screenshots, that almost always indicates a bad display panel....

Chosen Solution I’ve gotten my device semi working again but I believe the issue is my storage so I want to put a new SSD in and see if that fixes the issue. Looking around for a replacement the prices range from anywhere between $50 AUD to $750 AUD. I can’t tell what’s a reasonable price for an SSD for this device. I know it would depend on size too but even for drives of the same size the prices vary....

Chosen Solution My dashboard also has the engine symbol on and when i accelerate the EPC light flashes. I had Auto zone run a diagnostic on my car and it came back number 1 cylinder misfire and number 5 cylinder misfire. Today the car still bogs down but now neither of my symbols are showing on the dash. I heard possible fixes - spark plugs, coils, o ring, new cathodes, deep clean the injectors....
