Chosen Solution The battery pack is a 5 cell unit plus circuitry. The circuit monitors the cells during charge and discharge cycles. If one or more cells drop below a threshold safety voltage on discharge the circuit will shut down. The cause of the rapid drop in any one cell is due to ageing which is an increase in internal resistance and an inability to hold charge - a loss in capacity....

Check connections are all fitted and firmly in place if they are try cleaning all contacts. Try a different screen from a different supplier as it maybe a manufacturing defect on the screens....

Chosen Solution While I understand that I can replace the logic board should it get damage or simply stop working, my question is would it be possible to upgrade it with one from a later model(e.g 2009 to 2011). I understand that the connector locations changed over the years so if it’s possible what would the latest year I could upgrade to? Sorry but just no… I would not try that, I see many problems and potential problem like the case being different sizes

Chosen Solution MacBook Pro Mid 2010 13" Unibody I’m trying to upgrade from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM. I bought two 4GB sticks from iFixit, followed the iFixit install instructions, and upon restart, it appeared as if the swap had worked. Going into About tab I can see that the computer is recognizing the new sticks, but shortly after starting the computer, horizontal colored lines filled the screen, the computer froze, and then shut off....

Chosen Solution Is the sim card the only difference between the Verizon and AT&T model? Or are the electronics different for each? If so, how are they different? Actually, there is zero misinformation. The Verizon iPad will work on most GSM carriers including AT&T. The AT&T iPad does not have the antennae set up to work on CDMA. So they are not the same. As well as the LTE (which was my original statement) bands being entirely separate, and non-interoperable they’re both in the 700mhz band but are still different frequencies....

Chosen Solution No water or screen damage. Vertical lines on both computer screen and external display. I’ve tried all reset procedures. It will not boot in safe mode. Ran hardware test and it came back with no issues. Is this a gpu issue? or a kernel panic? Wow! Not good ;-{ I was hoping the issue was the display as that would need a new display. In this case your video RAM is messed up, this will require either finding someone with deep micro-soldering skills or you’ll need to replace the logic board....

Chosen Solution I have an 6yo Kenmore Elite Top-Loading Washer (Model 79631512210) that has been giving my wife numerous issues with the load being out of balance - she has fought this for the past year - multiple interruptions of the cycle due to the load being “off balance” with no apparent issue when you open the system. Two weeks ago the system started giving her grief and was giving OE errors and would not spin or drain… I fought it through the evening and searched the internet - I hand drained the system; verified that the house drain was clear, the hose between the unit and the house was clear; the hose from the tub to the pump was clear - it drained extremely well when I disconnected the hose at the back of the unit (we now have very clean floors behind the washer) - the common response was the drain pump needed to be replaced....

Chosen Solution where are the water indicators located on the iphone x? i see one where the above the sim tray on the screen, are there any others? checking to see if a phone i bought had water damage. Nope. There are no other indicator locations. There is only 1 in the SIM card slot and that is it. There is no way to know for sure if an iPhone X you bought has water damage or not....

Chosen Solution The contrast comes out very wrong. Dark areas and blacks have this weird magenta cast. Using media type “Plain Paper” or “Inkjet Paper” has no issues. Hi Michael S ! I suggest you do a cleaning of the print heads. The procedure for doing this is available here. Did you do the test with another brand of photo paper?

Chosen Solution My tv model is HL 67A51J1F what I needs to do to fix the white dots on screen?? @zurdo69 white dots, snow or sparkling is usually caused by a bad DMD chip. On most models the DMD is replaceable, but your model number seems to be invalid. Check it again. Also, the white spots must be random and all over the panel. If they are symmetric and rather large, then it is not the DMD chip but possibly LED errors....

Chosen Solution Hello, I have recently purchased a Late 2013 27 Inch iMac but its come with a Vesa Mount attached to the back with what looks like a 5 Point Star pentalobe scewdriver hole. I’ve tried a T15 screwdriver bit but it appears to be 1mm too small…. I can’t seem to find one which is one size up… the next size is T20 It is a Pentalobe screw, which is different to the torx shape....
