All the cables are connected and there is no visible damage to the motherboard and other components. Chosen Solution The micro an card cannot be read because some of the needles are bent. How do I fix them so they touch the card? @gingerthecat you can try to gently bend the pins back in shape with a pair of fine pliers. Otherwise you would have to try and completely replace the card reader. It is soldered to the circuit board and the Samsung replacement part number for that is 3709-001863 SM-J320 disassembly

How can I turn this off, except when screen is around? disable tablet mode first from the quick setting when you swipe from the right side of the screen and go to settings> devices> typing> turn off “ automatic show the keyboard in windowed app when there is no keyboard attached to your device “ if that didn’t work go and repair the soft keyboard software in the control panel search program and features from cortana or navigate to control panel > programs > and search for the keyboard right click on it and you should see option to repair and uninstall repairing will set it back to default factory setting
