Chosen Solution Trying to take apart the rear back plate of my Motorola Moto G XT1032 phone I accidentally ripped the inferior antenna which reads something like UMTS_CDMA 080. Now the phone won’t even charge, and when I plug it in the only thing it does is light up the notifications LED. I tried moving the antenna while it was still connected to the charger and sometimes the screen would light up and show the 0% battery sign, but the exact moment I let go the antenna, it would turn off again and light up the LED....

Chosen Solution Hii I brought a begginers yo yo. Just a couple of days later, some how my yo yo got splitted into parts and fell in the sand while rotating at a high speed. I cleaned it thoroughly with water but still found some friction in the bearing and was not spinning proporly. so i kinda used a regular coconut oil to lubrcate it. But i just overlubricated my bearing....

Chosen Solution My macbook pro dropped hard on a concrete floor. It refused to come on, I took to an engineer who advised i replace the panel, after replacing the panel with a new one I realised that there was a question mark on the hard disk and no files in it. Please I want to know if the hard disk is damaged? And if it can be repaired to get my files back or I have lost my hard disk and it can’t be remedied....

Chosen Solution Hi ifixit community, hoping you can help me on this one. I replaced a water-damaged Macbook (mid-2008) logic board and it now works, however it doesn’t work properly when the battery is plugged in. I figured it just needed a new battery but even the brand new battery does not charge in the Macbook nor does the Macbook function properly with it plugged in. Remember the Macbook works fine off the wall charger with no battery installed....

Chosen Solution I have a line 6 spider jam. The different amp models sound way different, the tremolo and the delay seems to come on by itself, And the volume is lower than normal. What can it be. I thought it was the board with the controllers (knobs) on it, so I replaced it. It didn’t fix the problem. I had to replace the lcd screen, due to not being able to read it....

Chosen Solution Where can I buy replace cosmetic plate/sticker (part number CIZ-00001 / I8I-00001) for my Microsoft Laptop Studio? I would recommend searching Microsoft’s main website for the replacement piece. and if they don’t have on just search through eBay for a cheap used one. I hope this helps,

Ifixit doesn’t carry your part yet. Be sure to buy the iOpener set with tools as its enough to do the job unless there is any special screw in (aka if you have a protech toolkit it will be helpful plus a cool gadget is never bad....

Chosen Solution All the knobs and buttons work as intended on the face plate, except the temperature adjustment. Spinning the temp knob does nothing in any function mode. I’m guessing the knob is physically no longer connected to the controller, how do i fix this? I have the same problem. I did some testing on the rotary encoder switch for the Temp/Darkness dial and have come to the conclusion that it has gone bad and needs replacing....
