I would fill the void, then press in the pin. Of course, it make replacing the band a little difficult....
Chosen Solution Several months ago I took a hike in torrential downpour (not intentionally just got caught without an umbrella) and my iPhone got drenched - it would not turn on. I put it in rice and let it dry out for a week. As a result the screen turns on but the back camera won’t display a preview within camera app. The front camera displays a preview but will not take pictures, face ID does not work....
Chosen Solution I recently had the screen replaced in my iPhone like two weeks before the water damage occurred. I have taken apart the iPhone and inspected for corrosion. The phone will not respond to when I try and turn it on, nor will it respond when connected to iTunes or lighting cable. I am hoping the phone is not ruined and can be fixed. But, I doubt this. There is a good chance it could be repaired by a good micro soldering tech....
Chosen Solution I have a Fridgidaire Gallery fridge with a ice maker up top and the freezer down below. The bottom of the freezer has ice buildup in it and once in a while water will pool at the front corner on the floor. Does not appear to be coming from the ice maker. ?? Chosen Solution I bought a Polaroid 600 and today I bought the film. I wanted to check if the camera works so I put the film in and it did work, however I did not put it in the fridge beforehand. Will it affect the pictures? Can I take the film back out? Refrigerating polaroid film slows down the chemical aging. You don’t necessarily need to refrigerate if you plan to use the film up in a hurry....
Chosen Solution Hi, I have used the AR drone twice and have already caused significant damage to the expanded polystyrene - the piece the camera fits on has all but snapped off. I have made the mistake of using polystyrene cement on it which DOES NOT work. This glue is meant for high density polystyrene; the cement melts lower density stuff. I’ve had a look around and people seem to suggest all sorts of glues: epoxy, copydex, foam-safe superglue, etc… Has anyone experimented and have a definitive answer?...
Chosen Solution The mover starts very erratic, it may turns over or not or just a 1/2 turn. Voltage drops to 6v . What type of starter does it have and where? @hwggiese the ZTS comes with either a Kohler or a Briggs and Stratton engine. So you will have to give us more details on that. On both types the starter is held to the engine with 2 bolts that are near the top of the starter....
Chosen Solution Had my computer for about a year, and it has worked just fine. Suddenly today my screen got a very thin black vertical line, it appered out of nowhere. I didn’t know what to do so I just restarted the computer but nothing happened. Then when I went to sleep, I turned off the computer and when I checked it next morning the stripe was a lot bigger and was now blue and it was flickering… Over the past year or so it has been dropped from time to time, and it might have gotten a small splash of water, but nothing significant that I know of that could have caused this....
Chosen Solution Whenever I play mobile legends in my BLU phone (sorry forgot the model) , I can’t possibly move the control stick while using the other buttons in the other side of the phone. This also applies with the other games in my phone like ppsspp and even my Google map. Honestly I have a really hard time zooming in and out on my Google map. Chosen Solution Just wondering what’s the best size of TESA 61395 tape to use for an iPad repair? I keep all 5 reels from 1mm to 5mm and it seems one way or the other they all come in handy. Not using tesa though, found a red tape I believe is from 3M, but it’s not marked. It’s soft and very sticky and does the job nicely.
Chosen Solution I tried to pair the remote control with the device and for some reason I can’t get it to work or pair with the device. How can I pair the remote to the device? If standard pairing process for remote does not work, it could be the software on the remote itself is out of date. To fix, put remote in pairing mode by holding play/pause button for 5 seconds....

Chosen Solution i have a Sony XBR55X930E (LED TV) and I’ve got some thin horizontal lines. I’m not sure if this is board/ribbon cable related or panel related. Can anyone interject? Pictures attached. Also notice there are two thin lines, and the color seems to be influences by whats above/below it, so the color of the line changes. Thanks in advanced. Chosen Solution I’m trying to install Windows 10 Home from a USB drive I made that contains the windows installer. However when I try to install it on my 1TB disk, Windows says that it cant. It says that the disk is unallocated, so I tried making a partition but that didn’t work. Using command prompt I tried to scan it using CHKDSK but i cant find the drive number, only the USB stick....
Chosen Solution I have attached an image of the dots. It’s the LCD. Did you see if Apple will replace it for free? Is it still there when you change the back ground? I suppose it isn’t superficial and can’t be cleaned off? I suspect however that it was pressured in those two spots killing the led pixels there. If it’s still under warranty take it in for a repair at an Apple Store....
Chosen Solution KM-print-copy.pdf Hi, I’ve been getting white streaks on my color copies that vary in width and tried several things. 1- cleaned the glass lens with a soft cloth. 2 - swiped a clean cloth across the fuser bristles. 3 -Reinstalled the driver. 4- purchased a new drum but the problem remains. Suggestions? I scanned a sheet illustrating the problem so it someone supplies a email address I’ll forward the copy file....
Chosen Solution FYI: Apple did offer a 750 GB HD drive originally so that is not surprising. Unless your system came with a blade SSD either discreetly or as part of a Fusion Drive your system doesn’t have the PCIe/NVMe interface so your options are limited to the SATA interface. As far as the Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD that’s not possible here as that is a blade drive not a SATA drive....
Chosen Solution My wifi is not working from yesterday. Instead of the wifi symbol, there is a symble of ethernet with a red cross sign over it. I tried to update wifi drivers multiple times but it not worked. What can I do now? Please help! The first thing I would do is try replacing the Asus drivers with the vendor reference driver, as that sometimes fixes it by removing the value add garbage that creates these issues....
