However, when I unplug the cord, the top half starts working again. So far, I have tried to fix it by updating, reinstalling iOS from iTunes, and using a different, cord and brick, both of which I got from the Apple Store....
Chosen Solution I installed a screen including the home button from a different iPhone 7. After a successful boot, an error message says “Touch ID not working”. Is this Apple, trying to prevent their devices from being repaired or did I mess up the connectors? @sebi108, Yes, the TouchID functionality of the Home button is serialized to the logic board. Only the original Home button will work with your phone, unless it’s replaced by Apple and they pair the new Home button....
Chosen Solution Lately I’ve been having problems with my Asus T100TA. I notice the Asus T100TA tends to register “wrong touches” if anyone gets what I mean, I don’t know how to word this properly but at random it goes registering a touch at the middle top of the screen, when I try to remove it by putting my finger on it, the ‘wrong touch’ goes moving down (And I’m unable to use my trackpad to move the cursor), it disappears temporary after a forced reboot (Holding the power button for 10+ seconds)....

Chosen Solution I have a Whirlpool front load washing unit. The top counterweight broke off from the plastic outer drum. The counterweight is not damaged, but it ripped a large chunk of plastic off of the outer drum. It is out of warranty and Whirlpool does not sell the outer drum separately from the inner drum and the replacement part is over $1200. I had the thought of using a plastic welder to reattach the broken plastic piece to the outer drum....

Chosen Solution The belts are fine they stretchy I still replaced them for future proofing. But the motor still won’t spin so I hooked it up to batteries directly and it worked. The battery contacts are fine and i hooked up 3v to the power pads directly and the motor won’t spin. Chosen Solution my camera has broken and I wonder if I can just buy a replacement one and fix it myself I think that your camera is not braked physically and you can reinstall drivers and settings for it as it was described earlier. Indeed, I had the same problem with my laptop when the USB “interface” disabled the USB ports and webcam. Honestly, I would not dare to disassemble my laptop and replace the camera ever....
