Chosen Solution I have a HP Mini 110 and from day 1 had many problems. This time the W and later on also the R keys don’t work… quite inconvenient. I have been researching the entire internet and tried a lot. I cleaned the laptop, also internally (got it all open); I did a full system recovery; I got the battery out, held the ‘on-key for 30 second and hit escape when restarting and then pressed F10 to get some kind of recovery start-up; I tried rebooting stuff with the keyboard; Changed languages bla bla bla… No luck....

Which bios do I use for Linux and what version should I use to get over the error? Pls help. i have the same problem, but i will tell u something that i have idea to handle that problem first : install normally, but when 100% and laptop will restart, go to bios (f2) and boot > than change HDD to number 1, and USB or DVD number 2 second : save and change then will restart, and that problem will resolve or when u reinstall, format ur primary drive windows, C if u using C become default windows drive....

Chosen Solution Im in the middle of a 6 plus screen repair, I’m attempting to replace just the glass only and lucky enough I’ve been able to remove the glass without any damage to the screen. Well I’m not sure yet, I’m trying to test the lcd, I’ve connected both connectors from the lcd to the logic board and pressing the power button is doing nothing. I’m thinking my battery may be dead, I’m just wondering if its safe to charge it without display connected…?...
