(I am guessing this will be different from the previous generation low resolution chipset.) It’s under warranty, don’t touch it. Return it to Apple for a free warranty repair. Chosen Solution I’m trying to remove the hard drive, I’m sure there’s another name for it. I got a toolkit on amazon, I can’t remember the brand, and it didn’t come with a torx screwdriver. I was going to purchase one on here, but I’m not sure which one I need. Anyone know which one I should use? With phones, the primary storage is typically soldered down to the logic board along with any other components such as the processor and memory to name just two others....

Chosen Solution toshiba satellite w35dt-a3300 not working than we press on batten power light is on but screen black and no any display same time i try any sounds or beep sounds? also plug an external monitor to your laptop and see if that shows a display. If it does - it seems your LCD has died which is a fairly easy fix :)
Chosen Solution I had same issue. Worked perfectly one night, the next day I turned it on and got sound but no picture. Checked all the connections, shut down all the power, turned back on and no sound or picture, just the blue light showing power is on. It was hooked to Tivo, so I disconnected that and tried by itself, tried resetting everything again, and still nothing but the blue light....

Chosen Solution Hi I have a 4Tb expansion drive that overnight stopped working in that whether it is connected to a PC or SMART TV, you can easily navigate the folders, but as soon as you wish to open one of the files, it freezes (in the case of the TV) or same of laptop but can also crash and give error msg no accessible. I have tried (also suggested by Seagate) chkdsk /f & /r, have uninstalled driver and reconnect to rebooted computer to re-install, but still no joy in access the files....

Chosen Solution The laptop just started having vertical lines in the display. I can connect it to an external monitor and that display works fine. I changed the cable from the motherboard to the LCD but did no help any. Here are a couple of pictures of the display. Any other idea what could cause this.
