The ribbon cable is glued (bonded) to the panel and those have a tendency of coming undone....

To fix this you will need to use a combination of B7000 liquid glue and Tesa 61395 tape and let the glue cure for about 48 hours including clamping the screen down to the frame....

Make sure it is on a channel where you have sound. Shine a flashlight at an angle against the screen. See if you can make out silhouettes etc. If so then the issue is your backlight. That could be a bad power board, bad main board or even bad LED backlight array....

I uninstalled the app today and when I played some music with my headphones plugged in, the music came out of my speaker. At first I thought I only damaged the cable. But I scraped off smd components from the trackpad. Because I suddenly had to order a new trackpad, I put everything together without the cable attached so at least you can work with it with an external keyboard and mouse....
