Chosen Solution Hello friends, so my nephews tiny tot driving wheels horn has been jammed into the wheel (halfway, but stuck) it has the toy on repeat when it is pushed hard and is also happening randomly, with movement of the toy. So i removed the 11 screws for the casing, removed casing, removed the green lever thingy, im pretty sure it was only held in with one screw. I was called for help so i had to put the toy down for a while....

Chosen Solution Hi, I have an old Mac mini Core Duo 1.6mhz with a zombie problem. I would guess, it’s not dead, but either a life. If you just plug the power supply, after 3 seconds, the fan starts like crazy. There are no lights on, no video and you can’t turn off the machine. The only option it’s to remove the power cable to turn it off. The problems happen with the hard drive sensor cable plugged or not puggled into the motherboard....

However the touch ID does not work. Any suggestions? Thanks Unfortunately, only the original home button will work for TouchID. The home button and logic board are paired, so you’d have to replace both if you want TouchID functionality....

Chosen Solution When I’m driving my car its like it stalls when its time to take off. I tried putting it in park at every stop and it helps a little for a smoother take off. I noticed that I didn’t have these problems unless I put a little transmission fluid into my car (that’s what my neighbor suggested). Its been at least a few weeks now the problem is back....
Chosen Solution I’m getting the “Can’t download the additional components needed to install mac os x” error when trying to install OSX Lion via Internet Recovery tool on a completely blank drive after upgrade. Tried removing half of the RAM, tried another connection, tried erasing the drive again (it’s formatted to Mac OS journaled). Any tips? I could use the time machine backup that I have but I’d really like to get a clean install and start fresh....

Chosen Solution I would check the large screen connector for either damage on the ribbon cable, or any of the black foam that surrounds the connector being trapped inside the connector. Secondly I would try another screen to see if the problem persists. The slow boot time is caused by the damaged home button and front camera flex. Worst case is you have damaged Something on the logic board either from the drop of whilst changing the screen....
Chosen Solution So I bought a mid 2012 MacBook Pro, low price so I went for it. It was super super slow the slowest thing I’ve ever used. The mouse would lag around when you moved it. Safari would take minutes to just open. Any app was just unusable. So I did some research and it seemed like I needed to upgrade to an SSD and more RAM. I’m new to MacBooks so that’s just what I thought I should do since everybody who has done the upgrade says there’s a night and day difference....
Chosen Solution After installing the battery, the use of the home button is now stopped. Not very happy about that. Any ideas? You might have torn apart the flex cable on the display for the home button when opening the phone, so i would try with a new display if the flex cable looks bad. If that doens’t fix the issue you might have damaged the home button itself when taking the phone apart....

I don’t know what happened but after initially replacing it, Coconut Battery said its max capacity was 98%. Now, it’s been less than a month, and it says the max capacity is only at 85.1%?
