Could I buy a 2013 mid/late 15.4" retina keyboard and take the keys from that?. I only want to use the keycaps, and these are extremely easy to take off as I have done. They refuse to tell what is wrong with the laptop beyond the repair cost for a logic board replacement £1995 repair bill in 3.5 years - 3 new logic boards, 1 new Keyboard Apples own repair history is appalling and it may well be a case that whatever the repair a new logic board will be required in another n months from a new repair date....

My sony xperia z3 d6603 just fell and the screen is cracked , the display is here at 100% , the power button , volume up/down and the camera button works . but there is no touch.. as i can see on other devices , even when the screen is cracked , the touch still works but on mine it is not the case at all....

Chosen Solution Got the 7 blinking lights. So took off back, disconnected SC board and powered up. 8 blinking lights. Ok so I replace the SS board. Power up, but I still get 7 blinking lights. So I run same test and disconnect SC board and still have 8 blinking lights. Any ideas how to test the SC Board specifically and diagnose if I need a new one? I already spent C$100 on a new SS board that I don’t know I really needed....

Chosen Solution i recently bought a faulty macbook from ebay listing it with a faulty screen and saying “it works perfectly through hdmi” i just got the charger today and plugged it in to find the macbook turned itself on without me pressing anything went on to a white screen and turns itself off after about 5 seconds then does the same. i was just checking to see if anyone else thinks that there could be something else wrong with it as if it had a faulty screen i wouldn’t expect it to turn itself on and off....
