Without the exact model I can’t be specific but If the component is cracked off of the board the easiest way would be to look up the board for your model and replace the whole thing. It is fairly strait forward swap. Fixing the board itself would require some soldering skill and if the damage is extensive there may not be a way to effectively repair it....
Chosen Solution The power on and off button went way inside laptop computer does still get power when power cord is plugged in lbthistime you can repair the power button by replacing the power button board. Gateway part number for that is LS-6902P. These instructions should at least get you close.
Chosen Solution Very rarely does this happen but Every now and then on iPhone 6 or 6s we do a screen repair and it says the touch id will not work. All the cables are original just change the screen. I have replaced the home button cable and the button its self. The only thing I can find in my research is that the touch ID fail is part of the ERROR 53 security that it sensors the phone has been tampered and wipes its self of the touch id for security purpose....

If that is the case, you should just order the part from eBay or a wholesaler and if you are comfortable enough I would say go for the soldering. Just remember it is a different thing soldering on computers vs micro boards like phones....
Chosen Solution 2000 Honda Accord 6 cyl. When car is cold and transmission is placed in reverse and then drive there is a jump. After car has warmed problem will disappear. Shifting solenoid has been replaced. Problem still exist. Take it to a transmission shop. Your doing more damage by driving it.

Chosen Solution I left the iPad for three months at lower than critical charge. It won’t turn on now. Tried charging but did not work. Connects to iTunes. ITunes says iPad in recovery mode. Need to be restored. Downloads the software and does nothing. May be due to pass code. Thought the battery died. Opened it successfuly but battery seems alright.. Look on the bottom of the phone, on the left of the charging port there is a black hole/dot.this is the microphone. Is there any foreign object obstructing it? If so remove it. If not then unfortunately it must be damaged, I would recommend taking it to a local repair shop to get it diagnosed....

The issue was that it wouldn’t charge so I changed the charging port with the ribbon cable which was obviously faulty.However, this didn’t fix the problem.I am getting a battery symbol with a lightning which continuously loops.I replaced the battery then since it showed 3.3V and I expected it to be dead. With the precharged battery, the tablet turns on now, but it won’t charge....
