Chosen Solution I scored a Laptop for nothing but it has a problem where it will not boot at all. I am told at some stage someone replaced the RAM but and instantly stopped working. When you try to turn it on it has power and attempts to boot but the screen stays black and after about 10 seconds it turns off again? I have reinstalled original 4GB of RAM and removed the HDD to see if it would take me to the BIOS, but nothing seems to work....

Chosen Solution Everything is working just the sounds are gone.. what should I do?? Use the remote to look through the TV’s settings, and find the section that deals with ‘Audio’ in the menu. many TV’s have a setting to turn off the ‘built-in’ speakers, so they won’t compete with an external audio setup. Id this setting was accidentally changed, then no sound will play from the TV speakers. or look for a place to plug in headphones - if there are some plugged in, remove them to allow sound signal to play over the built-in speakers....

Chosen Solution Hello everyone, My samsung UN55ES6500 stared showing an horizontal line and something like color distorting vertically on the left side. I’ve already tried cleaning and reconnecting all the flexes that go into the T-Con board but nothing changed. I’m attaching pictures of it. Could someone tell me if the problem is the LCD Panel or if I should try with a new T-Con? Thank you!! @guillermogc that is a bit of a tough one....

Chosen Solution I recently found my old Atari Lynx. I installed the power circuit refresh kit (replaced the MOSFET, etc) and the Lynx worked, though turning it on sometimes took a few presses of the button. I did the McWill screen mod next and that went well and seemed ok, but the issue with having to press the power button a few times remained. Next I did a recap of the board, thinking the issue was due to some old/bad capacitors....

Chosen Solution My Mac Book Pro letter N was not working. I took it to a repair shop in Heckmondwike - they repaired it. Since the repair it does not hold it’s charge and other letters are now slightly sticking. I went back and they say it is nothing to do with what they have done!!!!! I am so angry. I need it to work for my job. The mac book pro is less than 2 years of age and was working fine, other than the letter sticking, before they got hold of it....

Chosen Solution my screen says no bootable device, im using a recoverey thumb and its not using all of it Ensure the drive is formatted correctly. If you are installing Windows you can use the Media Creation tool from Microsoft.

Chosen Solution I have an iphone 6 that I am trying to fix, and it has a problem where it would not play any videos(it would say an error has occurred for any video tried to play through youtube safari ect…) and audio would not work either through things like phone calls, on speaker or headset mode. I first tried erasing all content and settings, which did nothing. I then tried disconnecting the battery, pressing the power button a few times, then booting it back up....

Chosen Solution bought used washer online, was told it was in good working condition. ran through all cycles fine, yet when i went to do a load of clothes, noticed that it didnt spin when load was in, but does spin when load removed? what is causing this? how do i fix this to work? Could be several thing according to your exact model. Please give us that number. Right of the bat I would first check to see if it has a belt and if that has decent tension....

Chosen Solution I’m doing my first ever water damage repair for a client and I’m having some trouble. Apparently the phone worked for the first two weeks, and he had the screen replaced by another repairer but then it stopped working completely. I changed the battery, and when I tried to power the phone on, the Apple logo appears for about 4 seconds then the phone powers off. I tried to do a hard reset, and the connect to iTunes logo appeared but plugging it in did nothing, so I replaced the charging port....

Chosen Solution When i turn on my power mac g5 it won’t even let me log in or anything and it will just have a blinking question mark and old facebook face and my fan will get really loud and then die down toa low hum. Insert you original system installation DVD. Hold down the C key on boot up. Run disk utilities and see if you can repair your hard drive....

Chosen Solution if the phone gets wet will it work still victorpadilla886, it is not water resistant. So this is a question that is somewhat impossible to answer unless it has gotten wet already. I suggest you keep it away from water… I dropped my mega2 into about 4 inches of water ( accadetially) . Afterwords I put it in rice for about two weeks, and also removed battery. Afterwords that it would not boot past the samsung header....

Chosen Solution My Kobo Mini works very well except for the power switch. The only way I get to turn it on is by plugging into the USB port and than I can’t turn it off. I do think that I need a new sliding on/off switch.

Hi, Don’t know the phone but it seems that there are two main camera (rear facing) modules available so I’m not sure which one you need. Samsung part # GH82-23975A and GH82-23976A Just to confuse even further, there are also two front facing camera modules as well. Samsung part # GH82-23973A and GH82-23974A Once you work out which one you need, search online using the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best....

My TV model is a Samsung HPT5054X/XAA, version SQ24 @msmarti2u2 start off by removing your current input source (cable box etc.) Then try each input source (HDMI,Coax, Composite etc.)separately and see if that changes anything. If that does not, you will have to take a look on the inside and check the boards. Unplug your TV and remove the back. You should be seeing this layout...

Chosen Solution The TIPM’s on the vehicles have a high failure rate, they are expensive to replace and require an exchange, I belive its just some corrosion on the board and they are repairable. part# is 4692236ak and list price is $880.00 Update (07/07/2021) I just want to see Ifixit Do a tear down and repair video on them. Chosen Solution My Toshiba DVD player indicates loading but responds with “unrecognized cd” Hi Lorraine36, I assume you have a Toshiba SD4100? Have you tried to open the disc tray by using either the Open/Close button on the front of the player OR the Open/Close button on the remote control? If that doesn’t work check to see that the Tray Lock has not been enabled. Tray lock is on will appear in the display when the open/close button is pressed....

Chosen Solution Hi everyone. I replaced the screen, home button and silver plate with the Touch ID ribbon on the back. I know its not the screen because the screen completely worked perfect and the phone even booted up after I replaced all this. But I completely forgot that replacing the two other things and then trying to restore completely screws your phone. Now I know Apple released a fix to Error 53, this is not my problem....
