But the menus, HUD and UI are a little ugly. There’s little licensed content remaining. One new mode or map would have been nice for old fans.
Chosen Solution Hey, so recently my fan had given up the ghost, so I bought a new one and installed it. Everything worked fine, until a couple of weeks ago I noticed that again iStat showed 0 rpm. So I opened my Macbook, took the fan out and since I didn’t know what to do, I put it back in. And, voila, it worked again. I had to witness this game a couple times since then, sometimes I just needed to reboot and the fan would start going again, but now it seems it has died, again, eventually....

Chosen Solution jonathanchiestand, it does most certainly look like a standard micro USB port, and I would be checking with places like Mouser.com or Digikey.com. Ultimately I would replace the I/O assembly cable. That is readily available, won’t require any soldering and you won’t have to hunt for it. It is available at places like this and others, I am sure. Also, if you have the kernel panic issue that is common on these 2012 A1286 laptops, I have heard that it is actually faulty tantalum capacitors that filter the power the MCP uses that causes this issue, not the MCP itself....

I opened it to check and saw that the battery connection to the motherboard was completely torn off, is there any way that someone can fix this? This can be easily fixed by someone who is capable at soldering. Any computer repair shop should be able to do it for a minor fee....

Chosen Solution When I xerox with my Epson l210, it come linings in black side remove your cartridges and grab a cotton ball and some alcohol and under the black cartridge clean with damp cotton ball and then try again and that should take care of the problem :) Please do a print head alignment from the printer driver. That’s either an air in the system or a clog problem. Sadly, on the factory CISS Epsons the problem is servicing it is much harder, due to how they embed the CIS on some while others are snap-in units like the 3rd party units that have been used before this system for years....
