Chosen Solution I recently replaced my screen and when I first turn it on everything works fine, but when I turn off the screen and then turn it back on, everywhere I touch just brings up the pull down menu. To anyone facing this issue, the problem seems to lie in the replacement screens themselves. A workaround is to go into Settings > System > Gestures and turn OFF “Double Tap To Check Phone" After turning this gesture off, the phone works normally....

The first thing you could attempt is to take a can of compressed air try to blow at an angle across the computers heat vents to try and remove as much debris as possible from the inside of the fan recesses without taking the computer apart. If this does not work you will have to take your laptop apart and look at the fan for any defects or obvious reasons the noise would be occurring during the laptops running....

Use a multimeter and with your powersupply plugged in but disconnected from the wii carefully check the voltage from the end of the cord you would plug into your wii you should see 12v DC or a little bit above 12v....

We had the same issue and ordered what was listed as the LCD and Digitizer. They sent the digitizer only – a lower cost part – and entirely wrong for the replacement.
