Chosen Solution Hi Old Turkey, I have an Insignia, model NS-32D120A13. I turned it on the other night and the right half had colored vertical lines down it. I smacked and wiggled it a little and the issue resolved itself. This morning I woke and that same right half was pitch black. After watching videos and opening the back, and tinkering nothing affected the image at all. On top of that, I do not know what affects the image on the right side (left side has ribbon) and I do not see an inverter board....
Chosen Solution The plastic collar that holds the ball and socket joint together ripped and now it wont stay together Do I just replace tie rod? Yup, Just had to do this with my John Deere. My quick fix for this is to get a 1/2” copper tube coupling and split it length wise with a hacksaw. Tap the tie rod back together. Using the split coupling tap that over the tie rod and your good to go....
Chosen Solution I dropped my Nexus 2nd G and cracked the glass. The top portion of the screen now did not respond to touch. I have replaced the LCD and digitizer and it still does not respond…only the bottom of the screen. Do I need to replace the LCD Ribbon Cable? More likely chances are there that you might have damaged the connector cable. Check on it. Or even it can be loose connection also....
Chosen Solution Hi, Trackpad clicks when I click the power button but no Caps lock light. The CPU fan also starts for a few seconds and goes off. Did all the SMC reset, NVRAM and hooked up to an external monitor and nothing. The board doesn’t show water damage as well. Any suggestion? Chosen Solution If I put a light against the screen I can see the picture and check the brightness settings. Everything seems fine but it’s dark,what could be the possible reasons? This is likely an issue with the backlights or the circuit for the backlighting. Not sure what model your tv is but from your description you seem to have backlight issues. The fact you can see an image on your screen by shining a light on it definitely proves you have backlight issues....
Chosen Solution You turn it on and you’re waiting for that wheel to stop spinning and it doesn’t If you can, take out the battery and power it back on. If not, hold down volume down and power until it goes to the boot menu. Navigate to the option that says exit, then power it on. Hope this helps!
