Chosen Solution Teac LED digital TV won’t turn on even when switched on and off at wall, back of TV or usin remote. Checked batteries and connection all fine. The red indicator light is on but won’t “catch” when the on button is pressed. It started doing this a month or two ago but weirdly if I kept trying (on/ off at wall or on back of TV and pressing the on button on remote) it would eventually “catch” and then on - but delayed - 5 or 10 minutes after I tried....

Chosen Solution Hi Guys, Is there any chance you can do a teardown of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6? Or does anyone know of any teardowns? They’ve made it ridiculously thin and the speakers are freakishly powerful! I have no idea how they do it and Samsung were of little help. Acoustics are what make them loud. Plus quality speakers and powerful drivers. Think about the iPhones. They’re loud, even though the speaker’s about the size of a EarPod....

Chosen Solution My MacBook Pro is connected to the Internet over Wi-Fi, and I need to get my Windows desktop PC online. It only has wired Ethernet adapter. What can I do? You need Ethernet on both PC and MAC to do this. Settings –> Sharing • Internet Sharing • from WiFi • to Ethernet First plug the ethernet cable in to both PC and Mac. You cannot share from WiFi from the Mac to the WiFi to the PC because the WiFi on the Mac is the receiver of the Internet and cannot broadcast Internet at the same time....

Chosen Solution I unwittingly plugged in a 1500watts space heater, which worked for a few minutes and then abruptly stopped. I could not find a circuit breaker in this. Is there any way to repair this? The space heater still works if I plug directly into an outlet. None of the plugs in the power strip works anymore. Please see photos. davkuo plug it in and measure the AC voltage on the rails between the brown and blue wire....

Chosen Solution has been on for about 20 minutes. wendallmaloy if the line goes all the way from top to bottom and is always in the same location, it is most likely that your TV panel is developing a TAB error. It is possible that once enough het develops the loosening connection tightens up and close the circuit. Thus the line disappear. you can easily find out if that is what is happening by removing the back from your TV....

Chosen Solution Dear Community, I replaced the screen of my MBP with this LCD Assembly for Macbook Pro Retina 13" A1706/A1708 The screen works just fine, but the TouchBar does not react to touch anymore. It still reacts and shows the corresponding buttons to the programme I am using at a given moment. Also notable is, that I cannot find the TouchBar agent in the activity monitor. I tried already to restart the agent in the terminal and reset the SMC....

The new touchscreen works well without a simcard, but when i put the simcard on the socket it simply become unresponsive! any advice on this? Same problem with lumia 820. Chosen Solution I had to pull out an old computer using windows xp. Is there any way to transfer the photos from my DSC-W830 to it? Chosen Solution My NordicTrack treadmill will power up and start fine but after 2 seconds the belt stops moving. The display is on but will not respond when I push the buttons. Once I power off and on it will again start but only runs for two seconds. I have checked the magnetic speed sensor and that is fine. I have also checked all the connections. When I look at the motor control board the red light is on u til the belt moves, then it blinks and goes back to solid red once it stops....

Chosen Solution Can’t find replacement part for water pump in chilipad. Look on aliexpress, there is no high tech in this thing it’s basically an aquarium water cooler. The pump is just an aquarium water pump!! You can probably find the original pump on aliexpress if not match the pump specs to another aquarium water pump.

Chosen Solution I purchased new home button from iFixit and it seems to be working for going to the home screen, etc but I cannot get the Touch ID to setup… with error: Unable to complete Touch ID setup. Please go back and try again. I used the Touch ID all the time … please help. This is a security feature by Apple. In order to prevent some malicious person from stealing an iPhone, removing the original home button with the owners fingerprint, and replacing it with another home button with the thief’s own fingerprint, allowing them access to the phone....

The only way to make that determination is by trying a Live CD (something like puppy linux) and check the files on your hard drive. If it is gone you will need to get a copy of whatever OS your computer had....

Chosen Solution So this is actually two separate issues: I am having a strange issue with my One X where the eject button is intermittently not working, but when it is not working, the disc will eject if I push on the front of the top of the case. It looks alright apart from screen doesn’t react to my finger or anything. I made it wet 5 days ago please help Simon. Chosen Solution I took apart my MacBook Pro to replace the thermal paste today and when I put it back together, everything worked fine… except for the Touch ID sensor and its button. I can’t use Touch ID and pushing the button does absolutely nothing whether the thing is on or off. Is there a connector inside the machine that I forgot to reattach which makes the button work, or could something have been irreversibly damaged?...

Chosen Solution When I start a cold engine of Toyota Corolla 2004, it gives jerks for first 5 to 10 minutes, and then it gets normal. Could be in need of a good service, it is a 13 year old car so will produce some foibles. New Air Filter, Oil Filter, Spark plugs and a change of oil should breathe new life into the car. If you’re trying to save pennies then I would suggest just taking out the spark plugs, if they have sooty deposits on them try giving them a clean and putting them back, this might give it a better spark and reduce the jumpiness....

Chosen Solution I am missing some repairing instructions and teardowns for the Motorola Moto G8 Sometimes ifixit can take a little bit to publish repair guides for certain devices. You could also look to youtube for teardowns and guides if they don’t have one here. I’ve had to do that a few times Yes I’ve done this before, too. The thing is I barely find something for my device.
