Chosen Solution I plan on upgrading to a 2tb ssd what sata connector do I need to ensure that my efforts will be successful? Thank you This Mac Mini natively supports 2.5” SATA drives. So no connectors or adapters are necessary.The SATA connector itself is quite standard so just about any 2.5” SATA drive should fit. There are upgrade kits available that will ensure the correct drive, plus necessary tools, although it does not appear they have a 2TB kit if that’s what you are after....

Chosen Solution I turn on my camera and the light goes from red to orange, not green. I’ve changed batteries and film and nothing seems to work. It just means that you flipped the MX switch on the side. Just switch it back down.

Chosen Solution Turns out the smoking smell was something else in my house. Everything is taken care of. However I discovered a new thing with the battery. The computer recognizes it and CoconutBattery does as well, but it does not charge and it also does not work on its own. The battery is at 55%. The computer has to be plugged in the entire time or else it will turn off....

Chosen Solution Hey guys, Replacing some logic boards. One is a 5S and the other a 6S. I usually install completely and then test. Do you guys have a method to test it before installation? I.e. hook the battery, lightning port, and LCD up and test prior? Thoughts? Most repair shops would simply hook up a few components like the Lightning Port board, Battery, and then the LCD to test. However, I recommend fully reassembling the 5S and 6S components (no need to screw them to the case) to test the components, since those two are quite problematic if critical components such as Touch ID aren’t detected....

Chosen Solution Found it like this one day…wont start no noise no nothing it just sits there please help!!! Where does the other end go??? Looks to me like this is part of your scooter’s emissions controls. That black cylinder up top is probably the charcoal canister. The other end of that hose connects to something you can’t see because of the plastic panels, I’ll bet. You’ll most likely have to take them off to find out....

Chosen Solution I turned it to the front facing camera to selfie of course and have never had a problem with it but all the sudden it has started to flash different colors and lines across the screen. What is it doing and how can I fix it? I tried turning it on and off and that didn’t help and I have no cracks or problems I can see on it....

Chosen Solution There are some keys on my keyboard that aren’t working properly, and I believe the issue is the PCB. I know how to replace it but I don’t know where to actually get the replacement. Anyone know what I can do here? Thanks! Hi @malicerainbow Nothing shows when searching for the part number on the keyboard (812-00994-00A) so try putting the desktop’s “product number” here. The product number should be on the information label (where the model number is also) on the back of the desktop....

Chosen Solution Hello My n3DS XL got broken connector from ABXY board to main board. I want to replace it but I don’t know where to buy. Does anyone here know where to buy it ? I include the exact broken connector (mark with red circle) Thanks for any help. Take it from me, I’ve tried replacing these ports on a couple other 3DS XL PCBs. It’s almost impossible without a heating table, similar to the work you’d do to reball a PS3, PS4, Xbox 1 or Xbox 360....

Chosen Solution My tablet is on and i can hear it but there is no picture on the screen. Try. Checking the LCD connectors on the tablet, as well as the ribbon cables. I believe that I fixit has a guide on opening this device. Thanks i was fiddling with it today . I was trying to take the back off and for what ever reason it started working. Chosen Solution When I’m charging the calculator the green and orange light flash back-and-forth constantly, The calculator won’t even turn on, what’s my problem? First, I’d try charging it from a different power source (like a different power brick or use your laptop). If the problem persists, then that sounds like a bad connection with the battery or something has gone wrong with the battery. When the LED turns orange, that means it’s trying to charge the battery but when it turns green that means it’s not detecting a battery to charge....

Chosen Solution the mobile is getting heated specially when i plugged in the charger and the battery life is very short even when I replaced it by another new one… my mobile is " S III neo " Double check settings like, location, NFC, and screen brightness. If Location/gps is turned on this will drain battery life and also cause the device to run hot. The other settings such as screen brightness and NFC can also drain the battery....

Update your TV Apps through your App portal or store (and TV firmware if required)” There is then a yellow button saying MENU. When I press the yellow button, the TV returns to the original channel it was on before trying to press the red button, and it is not possible to change channels without turning the TV off and then on again....

Chosen Solution Hi, I don’t know how this happened, but suddenly My Apple EarPods started working strangely. The sound is coming from the front end instead of main Acoustic outlet.. If anyone knows how to fix it. Try sucking on the front mesh. It’s ugly, I know, but this seems to work for lots of headphone problems, for some strange reason. wow! sucking actually works!!!

Chosen Solution Title basically says it all. I changed my 6s plus screen to an aftermarket one from ebay. Everything works fine, but when I try to open the phone using Touch ID the touch on the screen stops working. The home button and the turn-off button also stops working. After 20s or so the screen goes to sleep and I can turn it on again. If I touch anywhere on the screen before using Touch ID to open the phone, the touchscreen works....

Chosen Solution i hooked my computer up to my Panasonic flatscreen plasma TV by the hdmi port on the back of the tv. after about 15 minutes the tv shut off and wont restart and is flashing red light. two flashes bob stevenson, on a Panasonic the 2 blinks mean there is an issue with the 15volt rail and that it is down. The first check point is the D board, but the fault could lie on the A/PB/SS/SC/P boards because that is were the 15volt rail feeds to....

Chosen Solution Samsung model un55mu6290f had power outage and now tv wont turn on. i tested the volts coming out of the power board to the display board and everything looked good, fuse is good, capacitors look good. but when it is plugged in to each other there is little ticking sound. not sure if that is why its not turning on.. but if it can be fixed that would be great!...

Chosen Solution Watching tv & all the sudden the screen goes black, audio is fine. We have unplugged power source, no help. There is no HDMI cable. Please help. It’s only two years old If you were still able to hear thetv when this happened it can be a couple different things but usually the problem is with burned out LED’s. It is a little bit of work opening up the TV to inspect and test the leds but can be done....

Chosen Solution My device is Realme 7, there was no option of it so i chose a random one :) Problem is that today I downloaded Instagram from play store and an unknown application was installed with it which opened instagram and I cant delete it or see its info, its logo is an androidish looking thing and I cant see it in the apps list. Chosen Solution I followed iFixit’s guide (and used their official Steam Deck screen replacement kit) to replace the screen of my steam deck. After getting it back together, the steam deck is not responsive. I didn’t have any issue doing the replacement, I’ve done this kind of thing a lot, I don’t know what could’ve gone wrong. Now, when not plugged in, there’s no fan or anything on display. the power light blinks slowly (on for 2 seconds, off for 5 seconds)....

Chosen Solution It’s a jungle, but which adapter should I use for upgrading my hdd from 256GB to 512GB. thinking of use m.2 disks How about just using the best alternative to an Apple SSD OWC Aura Pro X2. I’ve got a drawer full of dead adapters and SSD’s I’ve pulled out of all sorts of Macs as they just don’t hold up.
