Chosen Solution I lose all the data i entered when my battery gets flat That is because the device stores the data in volatile RAM, not non-volatile flash memory. The power is required to maintain the data in the device. According to my search, it doesn’t have any flash memory at all.
Chosen Solution when i turn on it quickly turns off Robert Torres, check to make sure that the lens properly retracted. Check the spacing all the way around and make sure that it is even. A stuck lens will prevent this camera from coming on.

The calculator is fully functioning except for the fact that it won’t charge, unless the cord and charging port are aligned a certain way. It is not a problem with the cord, but with the charging port. It seems that its contact points to the motherboard have been disconnected, as it has come loose and moves independently of the chassis, and only with luck can it be placed a certain way so that the calculator may charge....

The LCD is undamaged @alled1981 glass and display should be replaced as an assembly unless you have the equipment to separate the assembly etc. (most likely you do not. Purchasing this would cost you more than a bunch of new assemblies :-) Anyhow, yes replacing the display assembly will fix this....
